Why Tree Planting?
Climate change isn’t theoretical anymore — it’s happening now. That urgency is part of why we’re called 11th Floor. The “11th” reflects the moment we find ourselves in: the sense that we’re in the 11th hour, where action matters more than intent — and where more people need to step up and contribute in whatever ways they can.

Current Project - East African Mangroves
Our tree-planting support currently helps fund mangrove restoration in Eastern Africa, a project managed through our partner Veritree in collaboration with local teams.
Mangrove forests are one of the most effective natural tools we have for addressing climate change right now. They store significantly more carbon per hectare than most terrestrial forests, locking it away in both their biomass and deep coastal soils for centuries. This “blue carbon” capacity makes mangroves uniquely valuable as the world looks for credible, nature-based solutions that go beyond short-term offsets and deliver lasting climate impact.
